The official start of the season in Saalbach is rapidly approaching! Whilst we are in the midst of preparation for perfect holidays at the Thurnerhof, the mountain lifts and the huts, both on the mountain and in the valley, are also getting ready. It all begins in a few weeks! We are very much looking forward to warmly welcoming you, as of the 8th December.

Off to Saalbach – an overview of the opening times 


The planned opening hours of the mountain lifts are as follows:

  • 1st December 2023 to 7th December 2023:Skiing in the Schönleiten, Asitz, Zwölferkogel and Fieberbrunn areas
  • 8th December 2023 to 1st April 2024:Skiing in the Skicircus Saalbach Hinterglemm Leogang Fieberbrunn area 
(Subject to change depending on the weather conditions)
 
We will be happy to give you information on-site about the current hut and restaurant opening times. These generally depend on the surrounding lift operations.
You can find an overview of the ski-pass prices HERE. You can already look forward to up to 270 kilometres of pistes, 70 lifts and over 50 huts! The varied offer makes a winter holiday in Saalbach Hinterglemm a special highlight for the whole family.

In addition to the official 2023/2024 skiing season start, there are popular events which make this time of the year so very special. The following dates are already fixed:

  • BERGFESTival (Mountain Festival): 8th –10th December 2023 - THE Rock Festival in the Alps!  
  • Rave on Snow: 14th –17th December 2023 - At the 28th Rave on Snow, mountain and valley transform into the coolest dance-floor!

The Thurnerhof is situated in Saalbach, embedded in the wonderful snowy landscape with amazing views of the surrounding mountain world. It is perfect for enjoying a calm and relaxed holiday. The Thurnerhof’s ideal location means that the most popular mountain lifts, as well as the centre, can be reached quite comfortably on foot or with the morning hotel shuttle. If the snow conditions are good, you can even return via the hotel’s own ski-trail which takes you right to the front door.
