Our excursion tip: the Hohe Tauern National Park Worlds in Mittersill
Experience alpine nature in a fun way
The region around the Thurnerhof is characterised by unparalleled diversity and natural beauty. To be able to see the alpine flora and fauna during the different seasons is a really special gift. We love our home region and feel very fortunate to be able to welcome guests from all over the world in this beautiful setting. We are, of course, also very aware of the responsibility of preserving this beauty. At the Thurnerhof we therefore place importance on naturalness, sustainability, and environmental protection. Here, environmental protection starts with protecting the nature. Showing children from a young age how to be respectful of others as well as animals, the earth and its resources is something which is very close to our hearts and in this we are not alone. Many excursion destinations focus on strengthening an awareness of nature and making it possible to experience the special features of the Alps, for example in the Hohe Tauern National Park Worlds in Mittersill. Here the whole family is given an insight into otherwise hidden worlds.
A great day trip for the whole family – regardless of the weather!
