One of the most popular introductory round trips takes you to the Hinterglemm valley head where you can experience alpine gravel biking par excellence. 32 kilometres with a difference in altitude of 920 metres. Start in the valley head and the route will take you past the Lindlingalm, Teufelswasser and the Saalalm to the Ossmannalm. From here the path leads you back towards Hinterglemm and you then follow the road towards Hochalm Speicherteich, past the Rosswaldhütte, the Wieseralm and back into the valley.
This trip can also be easily done from the Hotel Thurnerhof – start cycling in Saalbach and follow the Saalbach Promenade towards Hinterglemm to the valley head.
