A superlative challenge has been created with the Bike Challenge in Saalbach. The challenging route involves exploring the casual trails of Austria's largest bike region - the programme includes Hinterglemm, Saalbach, Leogang and Fieberbrunn. In our latest blog article, we reveal why guests at the Thurnerhof in particular have the advantage of the perfect location and what pampering moments you can look forward to afterwards.
Bike your limit - the challenge at a glance
The challenge of exploring the entire region in one day attracts motivated bikers to get on their bikes early in the morning. Thanks to the casual conditions on site, the tour can be started in all local areas and at all lifts. Guests at the Thurnerhof are best off starting at the Kohlmaisbahn or the Schattberg X-Press, which can be reached by bike in less than ten minutes.
The Challenge is open from 6 June to 15 September. We recommend keeping an eye on the perfect weather and, despite the numerous huts in the region, taking your own provisions and plenty of water with you!
Bikers who have completed the challenge can follow their route after registering at skiline.cc, pick up a cool water bottle at the main cash desks in the valley and take part in the popular seasonal prize draw. Waiting in the lottery pot:

The region around the Thurnerhof boasts an extensive and varied range of trails. 400 km of bike trails and over 80 km of the finest trails await the whole family here. To start with, there are casual facilities such as the learn-to-ride parks and flowing family trails. Fast-paced downhill trails and challenging jumps await pros and action lovers. The youngest bikers love cycling on the pump tracks and enjoying a marvellous time together with the finest mountain views!
