The ‘Sonnenkarte’, is a special mountain lift ticket for sun-worshippers without skiing equipment who want to let their spirits soar at dreamy heights.
The path to the most beautiful panorama does not have to be long, but if you want to be sure not to miss the absolute highlights, given the abundance of tours you can choose from, local guides will help you to experience the 140 kilometres of winter hiking trails in a magical way. In winter, the tourism association organises up to two free guided hikes per day with experienced state-certified mountain hiking guides. Give your skis and boards a break and enjoy this lovely introduction to the winter hiking region before then setting-off on your own.

In the direction of Jausen, the route runs along the promenade through the centre of Saalbach, passing straight by the Thurnerhof. Smaller ascents and descents lead to the Saalach. Good footwear is required.
