Tobogganing in Saalbach Hinterglemm in the winter

Four runs are waiting to be experienced directly in the Home of Lässig. Quick accessibility and an easy ascent with the cable-car, as well as toboggan hire and options to stop by at huts, add to the endless fun! You can have a brilliant time here:

  • Reiterkogel: Tobogganing at the Reiterkogel lift is easily possible with a valid ski pass. Toboggans are available to hire on site and, on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays, the 3.2 km run is floodlit and can even be used until 9.30 pm.
  • Spielberghaus: The piste groomer can serve as a shuttle for the ascent to the Spielberg at an altitude of 1,311 metres, you can simply make a reservation for this service by telephone. Whizzing down the floodlit run is possible every night.
  • Timoks Alpine Coaster: At the Streuböden middle station in Fieberbrunn, there is a two-seater alpine coaster. Use is actually free-of-charge if you have a valid ski-pass.
  • Asitz: Leogang has its own day & night toboggan runs offering so much fun! The L8 Almbahn four-seater lift takes you to the start in no time at all, and you can rent a sledge on site.

Excursion to the Biberg

Saalbach is not the only place where tobogganing is so much fun! In the neighbouring villages, there are many other runs and toboggan hills waiting to be explored at your leisure. One of the undisputed highlights, however, is the Biberg in Saalfelden, around 20 kilometres away, where tobogganing is so much fun in summer and winter! You shouldn’t miss out on the natural winter run and maybe you want to go on a small winter hike up to the start (ascent takes approx. one hour, a shuttle service is available on request). The beautifully groomed run on the Biberg has snowmaking equipment guaranteeing perfect conditions and is floodlit and can therefore even be used in the evening – ideal for friends and families and for those who want to have fun in the snow and ice.
Tobogganing is one of the many activities which make the Thurnernof winter holiday an absolutely unforgettable experience. Have you already requested a non-binding offer?
