Saalbach circuit

This comparatively easy tour on blue slopes is the perfect start to your winter holiday. Several wide, easy runs, mostly in the best sunniest locations, promise many moments of enjoyment and immediately make you want more. If you want, you can extend it with a short detour to the World Cup piste at the Kohlmais, or towards Leogang.

  • Duration (without breaks): approx. 2 hours
  • Distance: approx. 19 km
  • Altitude: approx. 3,600 m
  • Lifts: 8

Hinterglemm circuit

Long panoramic runs inspire skiers who want to be enchanted by this diverse and magnificent region. The Hinterglemm circuit can be completed in two different ways – clockwise includes more red (medium difficulty) piste kilometres, whilst contraclockwise is somewhat easier. A short detour to the SkiMovie route is definitely worth taking!

  • Duration (without breaks): approx. 2.5 hours
  • Distance: 25–26 km
  • Altitude: 4,600–5,600 m
  • Lifts: 12–13

Leogang circuit

This tour covers easier terrain too. Many flatter slopes, including the scenic eastern slopes of the Asitzmulde, as well as the southern slopes of the Kohlmais, stretch from Leogang to Saalbach and back again. Exclusively blue runs mean you can take it easy, and an optional trip to the SkiMovie route is included.

  • Duration (without breaks): approx. 2.5 hours
  • Distance: approx. 26 km
  • Altitude: approx. 4,300 m
  • Lifts: 11
  • Difficulty: easy

Tyrol circuit

With almost three-quarters on red slopes, this option promises challenging ski action! The Tyrol circuit, as the name suggests, tackles the Tyrolean mountains of Skicircus ski area. Naturally, the views are fantastic, but the level is quite demanding, so this tour is the perfect choice for more experienced winter sports enthusiasts. The wild landscape of the Reckmoos Nord makes this ski-tour a must!

  • Duration (without breaks): approx. 2.5 hours
  • Distance: approx. 22 km
  • Altitude: approx. 4,300 m
  • Lifts: 14
  • Difficulty: medium

The Challenge

The longest ski circuit in the Alps uses the motto, ‘Ski your limit’, and this is no coincidence! Actually, the slopes themselves are not all that difficult – about two-thirds blue, only 5% black (difficult). However, with a total of 65 kilometres of pistes, and at an altitude of 12,400 metres, you have to be really quite sporty to make it through the ultimate circuit in the Skicircus ski area by the time the mountain lifts stop running for the day. Even professionals will need approximately seven hours, but as a result, you will see almost the entire Skicircus in just one day! You can start at any of the 32 mountain lifts.

  • Duration (without breaks): approx. 7 hours
  • Distance: approx. 65 km
  • Altitude: approx. 12,400 m
  • Lifts: 32
  • Difficulty: medium to difficult

There are many ways to explore the Skicircus Saalbach Hinterglemm Leogang Fieberbrunn, and the Thurnerhof is located in the heart of the alpine action. Quick connections to the region’s lifts, the ideal infrastructure, as well as the valley-run right to the front -door, make it easy to explore and enjoy the ski-circus circuits.
